1. Get your site ID
Sign up at app.spelo.ai. Copy the site ID from the dashboard. No credit card required.
2. Open Code Injection
In Squarespace: Settings → Advanced → Code Injection. Paste the script tag in the FOOTER box (so it runs after the page renders).
3. Save and reload
Save the code injection. Reload your live site. The voice pill appears in the bottom-right corner. That's it.

Do I need a Business plan?
Yes. Squarespace requires the Business plan or higher to use Code Injection. The Personal plan does not include this feature.
Will it conflict with my Squarespace template?
No. The widget mounts in a Shadow DOM, so its styles cannot leak into your site and your site's styles cannot leak into the widget. Tested across Brine, Bedford, Hayden, and every 7.1 template.
Does it work with Squarespace Commerce?
Yes. Spelo reads product pages, variants, and pricing from the rendered DOM. Visitors can ask about products and the agent will navigate to and read PDPs aloud.
Can I disable it on specific pages?
Yes. Visibility rules are configured in the Spelo dashboard: enable per page, per URL pattern, or globally.
