Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want Spelo to be useful for you. If something is not working as expected, please email hello@spelo.ai before requesting a refund. Most issues can be fixed quickly. The full policy is below.
1. Free tier
The Free plan is genuinely free. There are no charges to refund.
2. 7-day money-back guarantee on monthly plans
If you upgrade to a paid monthly plan (Starter, Growth, or Pro) and are not satisfied, email us within 7 days of the first charge and we will refund that charge in full. The 7-day window starts on the date of the first paid charge, not on the date you created your account or started a free trial.
The 7-day money-back guarantee applies once per account. Subsequent monthly renewals are not covered.
3. Cancelling a monthly subscription
You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and your widget keeps working until then. We do not pro-rate or refund partial months after the 7-day window.
4. Annual plans
If you pay annually and cancel within the first 14 days, we will refund the full amount. After 14 days, we will refund the unused months (calculated on the equivalent monthly rate, rounded down) at our discretion, less any usage above your plan's included limits.
5. Done-For-You install fee
Done-For-You install is a one-time setup service. If we have not yet started the install work, we will refund the fee in full. Once install work has begun, the fee is non-refundable, but we will work with you until the widget is live and functional on your site.
6. Overage charges
Voice-minute usage above your plan's monthly limit is billed at the overage rate published on the Pricing page. Overage charges are non-refundable, because the usage has already happened. You can cap your spend or upgrade your plan from the dashboard at any time.
7. How to request a refund
- Email hello@spelo.ai from the address on your Spelo account.
- Include your account email and a one-line reason. We do not require a long explanation, but it helps us improve.
- We respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5–7 business days.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Razorpay.
8. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we automatically retry over the next few days and email you. If the payment cannot be collected, your widget will be paused (visitors will stop seeing it on your site) until you update your payment method. Your data is preserved.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We will work with you to resolve any billing dispute. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension.
